Steers

We  are interested in purchasing steers of the following breeds:

Highland Cattle

Belted Galloway (Full Blood or Crossbred)

Solid Galloway (Full Blood or Crossbred)

If you have any available for sale, please contact us.

On occasion we have raised a steer that has become an extra special steer.  This usually is a friendly steer with a very mild, easy going temperament.  Color may be another quality trait that may make this animal an exceptional steer.

For these steers we would like to find the home that they are worthy of.  We have sold steers to be raised as oxen, also for pets for the back yard.  We also have sold 4 steers to Sight and Sound Entertainment, Inc., to be used in a live play,"Noah", held in Lancaster County, Pa.  The trainers at Sight and Sound feel that these Highland steers are easy to train due to their great disposition.

For these steers, a quality life is a priority over selling them for meat, although not as profitable.  With every car that stops at the roadside to view your steer, you will appreciate owning this trophy steer.

If you have a need for a trophy steer, please contact us.

"BEAR"

Bear was born in April of 1998. He is a silver dun steer who would make an excellent trophy steer.

He is a very friendly animal, with a great disposition. You can walk right up to him in the pasture to pet him.

He has great breed characteristics with very straight horns.   He is halter broke, and broke to lead.
